FinaPros Privacy Policy
When vetting candidates or accepting new clients, FinaPros will request information that may be considered privileged or confidential. Additionally, we understand that many passive job seekers must be discreet in their endeavors. We appreciate your confidence and trust in us, and we want you to know that we accept that confidence and trust as a privilege and take it very seriously. While we must share information about candidates with our clients to whom we introduce them for job opportunities, we take every precaution to safeguard that and all other information entrusted to us from general dissemination.
Regarding your privacy:
ü We do not sell your candidate or client information to third parties or share information with outside parties who may wish to market their products to you. ü We do not post résumés or any information provided either within the résumé or through other communications to Internet sites.* *Talent Scout postings within our own Site are with the full consent of the candidate. ü We do not send out résumés indiscriminately or without a candidate’s express consent. ü We do not share candidate information with other recruiters without the express consent from the candidate. ü When posting job ads, we do not disclose our clients’ names or the names of their personal or any of their contact information. ü We do not disclose personal information that may result in bias in hiring practices. ü We will not ask for a candidate’s Social Security Number except when necessary to verify education. ü While we do not run credit background checks, it is incumbent upon candidates, particularly financial professionals, to have a satisfactory credit reputation as it may impact upon their potential job functions or reflect against their general ability to manage other people’s money. Many of our clients do run credit background checks. ü We will not commit our clients to any specific compensation package unless and until a firm offer has been extended for a position and we have been authorized by the client to convey that offer to a candidate. ü We will not check references without a candidate’s express consent. ü We do not recruit from within our client base, nor from a former client within one year of our last placement there. ü We do not solicit splits (sharing a job search with other recruiters); when doing splits we will either respectively notify candidates that we do not “own” the search or notify clients when a candidate has been submitted by other recruiters; candidates submitted by other recruiters will be vetted by FinaPros as though source directly; FinaPros will only bill its own clients for “owned” placements.
